Many patients are referred by their primary care physician, gastroenterologist or another specialist, and some insurance plans require a referral before a surgical consultation. Check your plan first, then call the office and the team will tell you what is needed.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications and doses, and any imaging, endoscopy or lab reports related to the problem you are being seen for. Having the actual reports on hand often saves a repeat test.
