All of our surgeons are Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and are expert general surgeons. We offer the full range of general surgery treatment. Within the Baptist Jacksonville Division our different surgeons sub-specialize in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, bariatric surgery, surgical oncology (cancer surgery), thyroid and parathyroid surgery and more.

North Florida Surgeons has cared for patients in Jacksonville since 1996. Today our surgeons make up the Baptist Jacksonville Division and work closely with Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, where they also cover general surgery emergencies 365 days a year. Over the years we have moved from traditional open operations to minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery for most procedures, so patients heal faster with less pain.

Every patient gets a personal treatment plan. Your surgeon explains your diagnosis and all of your options, including whether you need surgery at all. We work with your primary care doctor, gastroenterologist, oncologist and other specialists, and we stay with you from your first visit through recovery. Many of our patients follow up with us for years.
